Mohit Yadav Learn Staff-Level System Design Thinking

Mohit Yadav is a Staff Engineer at HubSpot, ex-Meta, with 15+ years of experience architecting large-scale distributed systems and data platforms handling petabytes of data. Over his career, he has built infrastructures supporting multi-terabyte daily ingestion and systems that helped scale a product from zero to 40M DAU.

He has also contributed to engineering education initiatives at Scaler, including the launch of an advanced System Design program for senior engineers.

Rather than teaching rigid interview frameworks or generic box diagrams, Mohit focuses on operational reality: why systems break under load, how to diagnose bottlenecks, and how to make and defend architectural trade-offs. His goal is to help engineers develop the systems thinking needed to design beyond CRUD applications.
