When I moved to NYC, I did what most actors do. I got a job in the service industry and went to as many auditions as possible.

Burnt out and frustrated, I reached out to one new person every day for 100 days. That challenge changed my life. Since then, reaching out has taken me to perform on Broadway stages, hold executive roles at high-growth startups, and have a seat at the table in rooms full of people who felt way out of my league.

I used to think networking was reserved only for people just starting out, but through now 7+ years of doing this work, I keep learning how much more interesting this gets with time and with experience. Our lives are made up of the relationships in them.
