This course has been a remarkable resource to start thinking from different perspectives and push me to going deeper dealing with AI systems and apply critical thinking. Unfortunately, I hadn't enough time during the cohort to complete the exercises, I will revisit the content and I will put in practice on my own for sure. Excited about the future of IA and the important of applying in emerging AI systems. Thanks!!

Great course that challenges you to explore the mechanics of how AI works and how to structure context for shaping better outputs given by AI. What I preferred the most was how the class pushes to think the concepts through with exercises that clarifies why context matters; and be surrounded with very knowledgable people in the class is a real benefit to learn more!

Designing Context for AI Systems was one of the most practical courses I’ve taken. Paz is a fantastic explainer with deep knowledge of the space, and together with Wes, the course’s AI engineer, she turned a complex topic into material that was easy to digest and immediately useful. What stood out most was how quickly I could put it to work. I started rethinking how I set context for my day-to-day projects right away, and the quality of what I got back from AI tools improved almost immediately. Paz also handled a cohort with very different experience levels really well. She added supplemental primer videos so everyone could get up to speed on the broader landscape, and when Jev was released after our class had already started, she created new material on it right away. That kind of responsiveness shows how invested she is in her students. I’d recommend this course to anyone who works with AI and wants better, more reliable results.

Paz’s strong knowledge of this space, flexibility on teaching people with different levels of expertise, and thoughtfulness on making the course better over the three weeks created a wonderful experience. There was a lot to learn in a very short amount of time, so hopefully she will expand her offerings so we can come back and learn more. Highly recommend this course.

This course showed me how content designers can expand their role into context and systems design, moving from writing interfaces to shaping what an AI knows and how it behaves. The hands-on exercises (restructuring a knowledge base for agents, writing eval rubrics) made it practical right away. I learned to be comfortable with tradeoffs in a probabilistic system, and I left with tools I can apply to my current client projects, plus a clear path to keep learning.
