I help L&D professionals create a competitive advantage through research-based learning designs and evaluation.

I am the founder of Paradox Learning, a Calgary-based consultancy working on AI strategy, AI literacy, and learning and workplace analytics. For 20+ years I have evaluated learning technologies and programs for organizations including the UN/IAEA, Asian Development Bank, Commonwealth of Learning, and InnoEnergy, across Canada, Europe, US, and Asia. I also co-led the QESA framework for evaluating EdTech innovation for Finland and teach AI Literacy courses for educators and business leaders. My focus now: where AI adoption makes sense, and how people stay in control of it, not just in the loop. I hold a PhD in Computer Science, sit on the Executive Board of the Learning and Development Accelerator, and I am writing a book on AI-enabled L&D for Wiley.

My work focuses on helping organizations solve performance problems and determine whether learning makes a difference on the job. I bring more than 14 years of experience in needs assessment, learning design, and evaluation, along with earlier experience in social work and organizational leadership. I hold a PhD in Learning Design and Technology and am a Certified ROI Professional. Through Ethnopraxis, I help leaders diagnose the problem, align learning with business needs, support workplace application, and measure results. My approach is practical: ask better questions before building training, and plan for evidence of performance improvement from the start.

I am the CEO and Principal Learning Architect at The Bradbury Group. When I saw how big AI was going to be. I decided to go deep to figure out responsible AI adoption at the edge of where people actually work. I help leaders and teams adopt AI and prove it's working. Part of this is through consulting and the other is by running cohorts focused on AI Literacy & Fluency.

Our course designs are fully aligned with the Department of Labor's AI Literacy Framework. We focus on the skills that can be integrated into real work and then track that performance. This approach has led The Bradbury Group to see adoption rates 3x higher than feature-led training.
