What you'll learn

Why AI Tools Don't Make You an AI-Native Designer

Understand why using AI tools doesn't make your workflow AI-native, and what separates the two.

Five Shifts That Define an AI-Native Designer

Learn what's changing about the role, the craft, the workflow, the judgment calls, and the tools you reach for.

How to Level Up Your Current Workflow with AI

Walk away knowing where you use AI as an add-on, and where your workflow needs to be rebuilt around it.

Why this topic matters

Designers moving into AI product roles are told to learn prompts and tools. That advice misses the bigger shift: the craft itself is changing. Teams running pre-AI workflows are falling behind, and designers who don't rebuild their competencies risk being boxed out of the most interesting work. This session gives you the framework and strategies to close the gap.
