As a first-generation Asian woman immigrant in the US, Denise cares deeply about the diversity and inclusion issues of Asian women. Through the AWE Network, Denise provides programs and resources to help Asian women flourish in their abilities, give back to the community and become role models for future generations.
Additionally, as the Founder of Denise Ang Coaching and Consulting, Denise specializes in coaching Asian women professionals to overcome cultural stereotypes, develop executive presence, and be seen as leaders. Denise empowers Asian women professionals to leverage their culture as strengths and become authentic leaders true to their identity.
Denise has over 20 years of global experiences in Asia, UK and the US. Denise has made several pivots in her career spanning the public and private sectors with a broad range of portfolios. Denise is an experienced business strategy and partnerships leader and is now the Head of Strategic Partnerships for Android at Google to bring the next generation of technology, including Generative AI, to billions of devices (LinkedIn).
Denise has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College London. Denise is also trained in negotiation in Harvard Law School.
