Principal Product@Microsoft, Ex-Spotify, BCG, Samsung, Top 1% Mentor Worldwide
I’m Yan Liu, a Principal Product Designer at Microsoft, and one of the earliest designers for Copilot. I led the strategic integration and growth of GenAI and Copilot across Microsoft’s ecosystem. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact opportunities that boosted user engagement and generated multimillion-dollar revenue. Additionally, I focus on driving user-centered design to ensure AI features are intuitive, trustworthy, safe, and seamlessly integrated into everyday workflows 👉
Over the past several years, I’ve built products across both consumer and enterprise companies including Microsoft, Spotify, Boston Consulting Group, and Samsung. Across these roles, I’ve worked at the intersection of design, product strategy, and technology, leading 0-to-1 innovation and helping teams translate emerging technologies into real products used by millions of people 🙌
Beyond my product work, I've been a Top 1% mentor on ADPList since 2024, mentoring 50+ product professionals in transitioning their careers into AI. I’m passionate about supporting talented people as they break into emerging fields and build the next generation of products. Check this as well ❤️
I created this course because AI is creating a new wave of product opportunities, but many professionals don’t know how to enter this space or position their existing skills. In this course, I’ll share practical frameworks, real examples from AI products, and actionable strategies to help you build the right portfolio, understand the AI product landscape, and confidently pursue your first AI product role.
Let's go! 🚀🚀🚀
