What you'll learn

Stop chasing the tool of the week

Reframe tool choice as a proxy for the real constraint you are trying to eliminate.

Own the product calls AI cannot make for you

See why picking what to build stays hard even as building gets cheap.

Define done before you prompt

Set success criteria upfront so AI-written code stays in your control.

Why this topic matters

Building software got cheap almost overnight. Claude Code and similar tools can generate working apps in hours, but that shifts the real bottleneck from tools to judgment: knowing what to build, evaluating the tradeoffs an AI makes for you, and defining done before you start. Founders who skip this end up with software they cannot explain or maintain.
