Natasha Tynes, award-winning author and journalist

Natasha Tynes is a Jordanian-American author and journalist with over two decades of experience.

 

She has been published in the Washington Post, Nature, Elle, Esquire, Aljazeera, The Huffington Post, The New Arab, among others.


She appeared on several TV programs, including CNN's Larry King Live, PBS’s Foreign Exchange, CNN's Paula Zahn Show, CBS’s Morning Show, MSNBC's Scarborough Country, and the BBC’s Up all night.


She is also a fiction author, with one novel published and another coming soon.


Tynes is the recipient of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Award at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Award Literary Conference · Oct 2018 for her short story Ustaz Ali.

Tynes has a Master's Degree in International Journalism from the City University of London in the United Kingdom.
