What you'll learn

Prototype full GenAI systems using AI Studio

Test prompts, adjust model settings, ground your app in documents, and wire up APIs—all from one interface.

Build real GenAI features: retrieval, agents, and tools

Explore retrieval, agentic workflows, and API calls—no boilerplate, just real features built fast.

Run locally with Gemma or scale with Gemini

Learn when to prioritize privacy and control vs. scale—and how to design systems that work for both.

Start building today with reusable code templates

Get working code you can adapt immediately—so you leave ready to ship, not just experiment.

Why this topic matters

Most GenAI tools stop at the prompt. But real builders need a way to design, test, and deploy complete systems—fast. In this lightning lesson, Ravin Kumar (Google DeepMind)and Hugo Bowne-Anderson (Vanishing Gradients) show how to build real GenAI workflows using Gemini, Gemma, and AI Studio. You’ll leave with working examples and a faster path from idea to impact.
