Femke is a design lead at Gusto who started her career at tech giant Uber and Canadian fintech Wealthsimple.


In addition, Femke has an online audience of over 150,000 designers where she teaches and mentors designers. Having mentored close to 500 designers 1:1 and taught more than 400 students in her Product Strategy for Designers course, Femke is no stranger to the role of product in the design process.


Having presented designs to CEO's and product executives, Femke has built her career by excelling in what's commonly referred to as 'soft skills' – strategic influence, product thinking and business impact.
