Gain the skills needed to have more influence and impact in your design career

Rated 9.38/10 in the last cohort!

Are you working in a low design maturity organization? Do others understand the value of design? Are you given space to have influence and impact in your role?

This course takes you through 6 modules in 6 weeks. Together, we'll discuss how to make sense of ambiguous product challenges, make design decisions based in strong rationale, build confidence through communication, storytelling and design principles.

I know what it's like to have a great idea that you spend hours working on, only to have it fall flat on stakeholders who don't share your vision.

I know what it's like to work at a company with low design maturity where you struggle to get heard, let alone even considered by the product team.

I know what it's like to be nervous presenting and communicating with senior leaders, where you feel like you're winging it and hoping for the best.

I've worked through these and more challenges with resilience, which I believe has helped me grow from Junior Designer to Design Manager in just six years.

😉

I just finished the *Product Strategy for Designers* course by Femke, and honestly, it was such a valuable experience. What really stood out to me was how it took these big, daunting ideas and broke them down into steps that actually feel doable. As someone who didn’t come into design through a traditional route, I’ve always struggled with the “how” of some common advice. You’re often told things like “run a workshop,” but figuring out the details is usually left up to you—or you’re sent to read an article that still leaves questions. This course really closed that gap for me. It’s packed with actionable advice and clear guidance, which makes everything feel way more approachable. One of my favorite things was how it highlights the relationship between product and design. It doesn’t just talk about design processes in isolation but really digs into how design and product teams can work together effectively. It helped me see where certain processes at work could use tweaking or where there are gaps that need filling. The final module, *Influencing Design Culture*, was the cherry on top. It wasn’t just about processes or frameworks but also about the softer side of collaboration—things like how to discuss solutions, balance technical feasibility, and build a solid design culture between projects. These “in-between” moments are often overlooked, but they’re so important, and the course nails that. This course is a must if you’re trying to grow your understanding of product strategy as a designer—or even if you’re not a designer but want to get a better sense of how to work with one. It’s clear, actionable, and super practical. Highly recommend! TLDR this course helped me with several areas: - How to acknowledge and address common design challenges in my org - Helped fill in knowledge gaps about complex concepts and ceremonies - Provides practical insights and action items

I’ve been wanting to take this course for a while now, and I’m so glad I finally did. I learned how to to work alongside PM’s to influence the product roadmap, add more value to design strategy, improve stakeholders presentations and communication, strengthen leadership skills, and how to influence design culture. Each section was super engaging, and the weekly live sessions were always fun—it was great getting to meet other students in the class and the facilitators!
