What you'll learn

How we design AI-first products

What to design writing agents, why Figma is now 5-10% of the work, how prototyping in code changed everything.

How we build AI-first teams

When you rebrand, merge three products, and the industry shifts underneath you: roles blur and what we hire for now.

Open Q&A

Open Q&A about designing AI-first products and building AI-first design teams

Why this topic matters

Step inside Superhuman’s AI agents team with Kevin Cannon, Design Director at Superhuman, formerly Grammarly. Kevin will shed light on what AI-first design actually looks like when you’re building writing agents that help people become better writers. Why is Figma now only 5–10% of the work? What changes when prototyping in code becomes the main act? It's an open Q&A session, bring your questions!

You'll learn from

Kevin Cannon

Design Director, Superhuman (formerly Grammarly)

Kevin Cannon is a Design Director at Superhuman, where he leads the AI agents design team. His team builds writing agents that help people become better writers rather than writing for them.

Previously he spent years at Pitch designing a presentation tool people actually love, and before that at frog in Munich working on connected products for BMW and Ikea. He has a computer science background, which means he spends more time prototyping in code than pushing pixels in Figma these days.
