What you'll learn

Structure any case in the first two minutes

Restate the decision, ask only the questions that would change your plan, and lay out a tree with two or three branches.

Think out loud so the interviewer can steer you

Check in at every fork with "I'll look at X first because Y", so you never wander for ten minutes.

Get precise where candidates lose points

Check denominators before comparing rates, give trade-offs instead of one metric, and name a guardrail every time.

Always land a recommendation

Make a call by the two-thirds mark, plus what would change your mind. Never end on "it depends".

Why this topic matters

Freezing on a live case is not a knowledge problem. It is a structure problem, and structure can be practiced. Candidates jump into SQL silently, recite a framework, or answer a neighboring question, then run out of time before making a call. Interviewers score structure, reasoning out loud, precision, and the recommendation. This session teaches a three-layer method and an AI interviewer that interrupts you.
