What you'll learn

Understanding Long Loop Workflows

What distinguishes workflows that persist and adapt over many steps from simple one-shot agent tasks.

Declarative Workflow Design

How to structure complex tasks into reusable, version-controlled pipelines using human-readable definitions.

Iteration, Branching & Decision Logic

Techniques for managing loops, conditions, and agent-driven decisions that adapt as context changes.

Multi-Agent Coordination

Patterns for orchestrating multiple agents—each with unique skills—to collaborate on large problems.

Why this topic matters

As agentic systems transition from demos to production, solving real problems requires workflows that are durable, flexible, and outcome-oriented rather than single-turn. Long-loop agentic workflows empower teams to automate multi-stage processes, handle uncertainty and branching decision points, and coordinate capabilities across models and tools.
