Why this topic matters
Every Jev answer comes with a calibrated probability: answers marked 0.8, are right 80% of the time. That's the whole reason to threshold on Jev without a person in the loop. So we check it. We will pool 113 labeled yes/no answers across three tasks, draw the reliability diagram for Jev and for Claude's self-reported confidence, compute calibration error, and set auto, confirm, and human bands. You get the notebook and a threshold table template.
