Maryam Salehijam, PhD, has been teaching lawyers and legal professionals since the age of 19.

She attended law school at 17, earned her PhD (granted by Ghent University, Belgium) at 26, and now serves as CRO of a legal AI company (Junior AI).

She is the published author of Mediation and Commercial Contract Law: Towards a Comprehensive Legal Framework (Routledge, 2020), which examines the importance and complexity of mediation clauses in commercial contracts through comparative law and empirical research.

Her career sits at the intersection of legal education, legal innovation, and legal technology adoption. She has worked with legal professionals across law firms, in-house legal departments, and legal organizations navigating the opportunities and challenges of AI.
