Selicia Richards-Turney is a brand strategist and partner at Chill Create a boutique brand design studio in London. She has over 20 years in marketing and 8 years of focused strategy experience at some of the most recognised and innovative companies in the world.
She began her career in broadcast media at the BBC, Disney and Warner Bros Discovery before moving into digital media at VICE, where she led campaigns across global markets. In 2019 she joined Uber — a masterclass in what happens when a product-first organisation has to buy back brand love — before moving to European travel scale-up GetYourGuide, where she refined her strategic approach for global and cross-cultural audiences.
Selicia now co-leads ChillCreate and consults start-up teams and founders with cultural intelligence, brand strategy and business growth — helping founders, marketers and leadership teams build brands that are relevant, resilient and built to last.

Laura has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications across the UK and Europe, including leading marketing for category-leading brands in their sectors, such as Enlighten Smiles (UK) and Campos Curlyhair (Spain). With a background in journalism, she brings a sharp eye for clarity, positioning, and narrative.
She specialises in working closely with small to mid-sized businesses and founders, helping them clarify who they are and what they offer, and communicate it in a way that connects and drives conversion. Her work spans both strategy and execution.
Her approach blends marketing strategy with a deep understanding of human and client behaviour.
