What you'll learn

Work with AI agents to build and evolve design systems

Learn how to bring agents into your design system workflow so they help build and evolve it alongside your team.

Make your design system agent-ready

See concrete changes to tokens, components, and docs that help agents work in your codebase without breaking things.

Set clear instructions and guardrails for agents

Learn how to write directives and constraints that keep agents focused, accurate, and useful in production work.

Understand how agents reshape design and engineering roles

Get a clearer picture of how agent collaboration shifts what designers and design engineers own day to day.

Why this topic matters

Agents are changing our world fast, multiplying what we can achieve. But they're only as good as the instructions we give them—and the environments we put them in. In this lightning talk, Jan shares the problems agents encounter in existing design systems, with advice on how to actually code in production as a designer.

You'll learn from

Jan Six

Principle Designer at Github, co-founder of Tokens Studio

Jan Six is a designer who codes, and a long-time builder at the intersection of design, engineering, and product strategy.

Jan helps teams ship elegant solutions that hold up in the real world, not just in Figma. His style is pragmatic and trust-driven: align on the business goal, sweat the details that matter, and deliver measurable value through steady, compounding improvements. He's pragmatic and detail-driven, and brings deep expertise in design systems, tokens, and the practical side of getting branded, production-quality components into code.

Anna Arteeva

Design Leader turned AI-Code Educator

Anna Arteeva is a product design leader, builder, and AI prototyping educator with a technical background, formerly Head of Product Design at Payoneer. She helps teams move past AI hype and into building things that ship: real interfaces built with design systems and reusable components, wired to data and non-trivial logic, and ready for handover instead of getting stuck as "just a prototype."

Her work sits in the messy middle between design craft and engineering reality, where good taste meets solid foundations: clear technical vocabulary, strong product judgment, and workflows that scale from fast vibe-coding to robust, maintainable code.
