What you'll learn
Map product context to API design.
See which entity attributes, validation rules, and use cases become which schemas, enums, and endpoints.
Encode API conventions in a skill.
Define formats, identifiers, pagination, errors, auth, and NFRs once, so every generated spec follows them.
Review a generated spec for agent-readiness.
Check naming, descriptions, operationIds, enums, and examples against the product context.
Separate context facts from LLM inventions.
Trace each field and endpoint to a context file and find the ones the model made up.
Why this topic matters
Agents are becoming API consumers alongside developers. An agent cannot ask your team a question. It reads the spec. If the spec has a free-text field where the product has a fixed set of values, or five calls for a task the user sees as one step, the agent guesses.
LLMs draft specs fast. They invent fields, states, and rules at the same speed. Your product context base should hold facts that prevent this.
