When you sign up for coaching it usually means something in your career, whether you are in the planning stages or at a senior level, maybe feels stuck or is not progressing as you would hope or maybe you have questions that you can't find the answer for anywhere else. Most people encounter this situation at some point in their career, but most people just sit with it and don't live the career they really want.
Don't be that person. I may not have the answer you are looking for, but I may know someone that does and can point you in that direction.
You are not locked in to any sort of contract and I have flexible rates because my goals are to help other meteorologists figure out what it took 20 years for me to learn, and be able to have a successful career without making sacrifices in your personal life to make the career work for you.
Coaching or even mentoring is not about linear progress. Some meetings will be very helpful, some will be me learning about you and more about discovering the solution or a path forward and it can be a grind. Coaching is best when we have a partnership so all I ask is you come ready to share and ready to work on solutions and I will bring all my experience and more into our meetings.
I've worked for 20+ years as a meteorologist in aviation, agriculture, energy trading, wildfire, road maintenance, construction, concerts, sporting events, and marine as both an operational meteorologist and a hiring manager. I've work over 10 years of night shift, on rotating shifts, had unlimited days off, had a company max out my 401k or retirement fund, and I've helped 6 people get to the hiring table, and as a hiring manager, I hired 4 meteorologists, 3 straight of college for big time roles. I've been officially coaching for 4 years and unofficially most of my career.
