I’m an AI Engineering Leader with more than 25 years of experience building software and AI for Credit Suisse, UBS, Deutsche Bank, BP and EBRD.

I’ve watched the same thing happen again and again. An AI idea gets everyone excited, the demo impresses the room, and months later the project stalls at sign-off. The model is rarely the problem. The problem is that nobody turned “we should use AI for this” into something precise enough to build, test and trust.

That translation work belongs to Product Owners and Business Analysts. I wrote Practical AI for Product Owners and Business Analysts to give them a method for it, and I run cohorts that train them to do this work on real enterprise problems.
