Pascal packed so many great insights and practical tools into a concise and manageable short course. As a 'non-tech' sustainability professional, I now feel like I have the background knowledge on environmental impacts of AI and the necessary technical vocabulary to engage corporate tech, finance, sustainability, and compliance teams. The course provided a clear framework for actions that companies can take, both at the individual developer and user levels as well as with third-party software and AI providers. I appreciated that the course wrapped up with a call to action to build the business case and drive culture change from within. In addition, the many approachable open-source resources shared in the course can empower individuals to use AI more conscientiously - I am looking forward to using them myself, promoting their use across my company, and sharing them with family and friends!

This is a great class and is designed for flexibility in how deep you want to go into the technical aspects (deep-dive or more shallow dive), depending on your scope and time. I now have a well-informed understanding of AI's impacts and the opportunities out there to help both individuals and companies with best practices to drive efficiencies. It's the wild west right now with AI and this class provides the exposure and inspiration to bring some innovative order in this rapidly advancing space!
