Eugene Chan Behavioral scientist making AI adoption stick.
Eugene Chan, Ph.D. is Full Professor and the Van Norman Chair of Business at Tyndale University in Toronto, and founder of Behavieural, an independent behavioral science consultancy. With an h-index of 31 and over 90 peer-reviewed publications, he has spent two decades studying how psychological mechanisms drive human decision-making in organizational and commercial contexts. His current work sits at the intersection of behavioral science and AI governance — examining why employees override, work around, and under-scrutinize AI systems in ways that standard adoption metrics never capture. He brings both the academic rigour of an active researcher and the practitioner credibility of someone who consults directly with organizations navigating real AI deployments.
