Dr. Char'dae C. Bell Improve culturally relevant communication
Dr. Char'dae C. Bell, LMFT-T, is a clinician, researcher, speaker, and behavioral health leader committed to advancing culturally responsive mental health care. Her research examines African American Vernacular English (AAVE), mental health communication, diagnosis, and the experiences of Black women in behavioral health settings. With experience in clinical practice, executive leadership, program development, and research, Dr. Bell works to bridge the gap between scholarship and practice. She is the creator of the C.O.N.T.E.X.T. Before Conclusion Framework, which encourages clinicians to consider cultural and lived context before reaching diagnostic conclusions.
