We borrow our name from the AI concept of the ‘human in the loop’ — the idea that people remain essential to guiding and improving intelligent systems. In the same way, this course puts you, the marketer, back at the centre of your AI-powered marketing process.


This course is designed for anyone working in marketing, from first-time marketers to CMOs, who want to save time and money by learning from leading industry professionals about how they utilise AI in their work. The syllabus includes eight hours of live classes over two weeks, links to helpful articles, podcasts and videos alongside detailed video guides on how to use AskRally, ChatGPT, Character.ai, Krea, Base 44 and QuickReply.ai in your work.


Your co-hosts on The Marketer in The Loop are Dino Myers Lamptey and Lee Henshaw. Dino is the founder of the marketing agency The Barber Shop and Lee is the founder of the UK software startup Into-it. They are joined by prompt engineer Nicole Wan and moderator Krita Barbhaya.


The course is split into three parts: diagnosis, strategy and tactics.


Diagnosis is about understanding the market for your product or service through market research and segmentation. Let us teach you how to run synthetic focus groups and surveys using AskRally and segment your data using ChatGPT.


Marketing strategy is all about choosing which segments to target, how to position your product or service with them and deciding on your objectives. We'll teach you how to bring your segments to life using Character.ai and create distinctive assets with Krea.


You make tactical decisions around the famous four P's of marketing: Product, Price, Promotion and Place. Here we'll teach you how to automate customer service using QuickReply.ai and build your own Van Westendorp Price Sensitivity Meter using Base 44.
