Built for both AI novices to PMs, to software engineers looking to transition into AI teams and startups, this course should give you the basic frameworks, tools and thought structures to approach any AI problem in a clear, thought through manner. Be prepared for any problem: We will dive into multiple AI problems and case studies, and examine how to break them down. We will go through some challenges, roadblocks and considerations you might encounter along the way, and how to deal with them effectively, from model development and deployment, to UX and go-to-market strategy. Hands on work: Students will get the opportunity to draft PRDs for real AI problems, create their own prototypes, and get feedback. Why learn with me? I've worked on AI/ML teams for over 10 years, led AI/ML initiatives at top companies, and successfully exited an AI startup. My speciality is in applied AI, so I will teach how to apply some of the theories you might learn on other online courses.

Course syllabus

Introduction to building AI products, frameworks, AI categories, case studies, problem mapping, with intense Q&amp;A and practical questions. We will set a problem set at the end of the class for the cohort to think through.

Live Session 1 - AI Product Development

We will go through any questions the cohort has on the PRDs they are working on, and answer any considerations they should be thinking of.

PRD Problem Set - Q&A Session

We will go through the specific AI problem from the problem set, and collectively build a requirements document together, thinking through the caveats.
