The course provides a practical, structured framework for product professionals to connect data visualization and user friction directly to business metrics, making it a useful resource for improving cross-functional stakeholder alignment.

This course solved a real problem for me: How to get buy-in in a low-UX-maturity environment where nobody asks about user experience unless it's already a fire. The frameworks here gave me language that actually lands with PMs and stakeholders instead of sounding like design jargon. The Data Pyramid was a big one. I realized I'd been stopping at "here's what I found" instead of climbing to "here's what it costs and what we should do." I applied every exercise directly to a real project (a legacy government system modernization), and I'm preparing to use the frameworks in actual stakeholder conversations. This course is absolutely worth it if you're a designer who's been told to "sell your work" but never given the tools to do it.

Make the Case: How to Present Design Ideas That Spark Action

Super practical course with immediate impact. You don’t just learn concepts, you leave with actionable frameworks to connect design decisions to real business outcomes. Highly recommended if you want to move from “doing design” to driving strategic decisions.

This course is a must for anyone looking to frame problems and propose solutions grounded in data. It gave me incredible clarity on data storytelling and pushed me to explore AI prompting even further. I can now effortlessly craft AI research and validation narratives, knowing exactly which data matters at each step of the process.

Christopher's class offers great content and covers many of the concepts and frameworks all designers should have under their belts. Most of the questions students had were already something he had thought about or covered in previous classes so we benefit from his experience. I think every designer should have a grounding in data informed design principles and highly recommend considering the course.
