We can’t let AI be something that just happens to our products. It needs to be something intentionally designed, in a way that respects its limitations, while delivering exceptional experiences to the people we design for.
Session 1: Delivering Strategic UX & Design into the AI World
AI presents a critical opportunity for UX and Design to become strategic players within your organization. You’ll need new UX and design leaders to ensure that every new capability improves people’s lives, while delivering innovative value back to your organization is how you’ll realize AI’s full potential.
You’ll learn how to:
• Demonstrate that AI’s most significant value lies in improving the lives of your customers.
• Deliver strategic innovation to your organization in a world where AI still has severe (and sometimes potentially catastrophic) limitations.
• Make UX and design a top priority for product and development teams who are heads-down on delivering new AI capabilities.
Session 2: Bringing on AI Value through Intelligent UX & Design
Your organization will realize the value AI brings when your products and services exceed your customers’ expectations, anticipate your users’ needs, and eliminate the burden and toil of unnecessary work. Discovering and designing for these opportunities will strengthen your team’s UX and Design efforts, growing your influence and cementing the perception that great user experiences deliver value.
You’ll learn how to:
• Map AI capabilities against the Kano Model to identify customer expectations, capability payoffs, and opportunities to delight customers.
• Eliminate user resistance to change while ensuring that new AI capabilities are made intuitive to new and existing users.
• Demonstrate which AI features and capabilities are most valuable to customers and how they translate into achieving business goals.
Session 3: The Strategic UX & Design Process in an AI World
Your team will need a process that supports the demands that AI brings to your users’ experiences. Unfortunately, your team’s pre-AI UX processes will likely struggle to keep up with the sophistication and intricacies of this new world. You’ll need new skills, practices, and perspectives that'll reveal exciting customer innovations, demonstrate and communicate your team’s value, and create a vivid and compelling vision of future user experiences.
You’ll learn how to:
• Upgrade your UX research practices to uncover where AI will provide value so great that customers will flock to your products and services.
• Measure the success of your AI efforts, the progress you’re making, and your UX and Design team’s delivered value.
• Paint an inspiring vision of how AI will improve your customers’ and users’ lives, motivating your Product and Development peers to prioritize great UX.
