AI is like a smart, fast intern who has read and can recall the entire internet. The metaphor will help explain _how_ you can use your already-great lawyer skills to get AI to do great work for you.

Learn how GPT and AI work and how to get great results for legal questions. 

Good prompting takes AI's answers from 65% accuracy to 92% or higher. We'll review the [context]-[task]-[format] method that gives great results and practice together and on your own.

Get and practice a proven prompting method for legal use cases like drafting, reviewing, editing, and research.

Once you have know the tools and how to iterate with AI help, you'll find asking AI will cut the time your drafting time in half. We'll talk about good uses of it and incorporating it into your team and general productivity.

First class. ChatGPT basics, prompt crafting overview, the "Company-Context-Task" framework, and iterating with ChatGPT. Exercises: (1) company description and (2) sample prompts - summarizing content.

Class 1 - Live

Second class. Review assignment (best prompt of the week). ChatGPT for compliance tasks, contract review, privacy/IP, litigation, forms. Exercises: (a) drafting a form agreement, (b) drafting a checklist, (c) preparing a Slack/email on your behalf.

Class 2 - Live, a week after Class 1

You'll work on prompting outside of class. The assignments will ask you to share your favorites of the week.
