Bill Hood is an AI engineer, educator, entrepreneur, and lifelong technologist with more than 40 years of experience building software and solving business problems with technology. He began programming professionally in the early 1980s and has worked across banking, consulting, cloud computing, software startups, and AI. He has also taught computer science, Python, networking, databases, mathematics, and skiing. Today, Bill focuses on practical AI and agentic systems, helping people move beyond simply chatting with AI to using it as a powerful working partner. His teaching philosophy is simple: humans remain in control. AI provides extraordinary capability, but experience, judgment, curiosity, and responsibility still belong to us.
