Ayon Bhattacharya makes you technically dangerous as an AI designer

Ayon helps designers and PMs become technically dangerous with AI: able to prototype, automate, and ship like builders.

Ayon was an early employee at Eve, an a16z-backed AI unicorn. A founding designer with hands-on experience with product management and development, he now bypasses Figma to do 95% of his work directly in code.

He trained his team on AI-native workflows, created a code-based prototyping environment for the designers at Eve, and has taught 10+ hands-on workshops on topics like claude code, cursor, git, and using a design system with AI tools.

He wants an army of technically dangerous, AI powered designers to see their vision fulfilled.

This course helped me figure out how to get started with AI, design, and code. I came in with basic technical experience, so I reviewed Ayon’s lesson notes before each session. That preparation really paid off. Ayon also changed things up during class to match what the group needed, which made it easier to keep up. We built and tested a kanban board, added new features to a video game, and explored Claude skills and markdown files. We pushed code to GitHub, deployed it on Vercel, and watched our projects go live. I learned that prompts need to be specific for good results, and that workflows and branches help you manage several tasks at once. Ayon also talked about the unwritten rules that engineers care about, which you don’t usually see in documentation. I finished the course with practical tools that I’m already using in client projects. I also have a better idea of how to work with engineers and feel confident that I can push code and deploy projects on my own.

Technically Dangerous: The AI Builder Bootcamp for Designers & PMs

This course provides a complete, practical design-to-code pipeline. Ayon prepared incredibly thorough foundational materials and multiple live sessions that make it much easier to learn quickly and put everything into practice. Compared with teaching myself through scattered online resources, the course compressed what took me months of trial and error into about three weeks of structured learning. It’s also valuable for designers who already have some experience taking designs through deployment. The course goes beyond the basics and fills in the more technical and engineering-focused gaps, including command-line fundamentals, multi-agent workflows, running agents in the cloud, and collaborating effectively through GitHub. Overall, it’s a great bridge for designers who want to move beyond simply using AI tools and build a more systematic, production-ready design-to-code workflow.

I started with fear about my design career and overwhelm in navigating AI tools. I want to feel a sense of play with design again. My endless questions quickly became joy and curiosity through the power of building and leaning into change. Now, I am obsessed with deploying projects and building apps. Ayon is brilliant at taking complexity and organizing it into memorable mental models. He's patient and empathetic while challenging you to apply new lessons so they truly sink in. He maintains a refreshing lightness as we move from uncertainty to empowered. If you're an engaged learner, you will learn a whole set of tools that will bring confidence to your LLM use in AI prototyping, design exploration, and daily workflows.
