Learn how to demonstrate business fluency, show up as a company leader, and connect the work to clear outcomes.
2: Balance vision and execution
Apply a framework that balances charting an experience vision and tackling strategic design work while improving current experiences and driving the metrics that matter.
3: Understand how to increase your influence and impact
Develop strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and executives through ongoing communication, building trust, and understanding how to gain buy-in, approval, and support.
4: Learn best practices to build design infrastructure that scales
Establish mechanisms and high-leverage activities that maintain culture, quality, and community as you grow.

Before joining Expedia, Rachel held prominent leadership positions as SVP and Head of Experience Design at Bank of America, Head of Studio, New Product UX at Amazon's Human-Centered Design Group, and Senior Director of UX at Samsung's Mobile Innovation Lab.
Rachel serves as an Executive Board Member for the Fast Company Executive Board. She also writes the influential newsletter, ’Defining Experience,’ providing insights on design leadership, experience-led culture, emerging technology, and the future of work.
