Course overview
In your last performance review, were you told you weren't thinking big enough? Or, perhaps you need more confidence to challenge how things have always been done, even though you know there must be a better way.
“Creative Velocity”—your ability to quickly originate new and innovative ideas that are both useful and valuable—is a critical skill in product innovation, startup growth, executive leadership, and problem-solving. With the rise of generative AI, fostering human creativity in the workplace is more important than ever to add meaning, ethics, context, and discernment when evaluating machine-generated output.
Based on my upcoming book (available from Wiley in May 2025,) this workshop provides tools and techniques to build creative confidence with or without AI as your partner. With a set of exercises for each lesson, you can practice these methods to help you confidently address business challenges, improve customers’ outcomes, and rethink how work is done. By enhancing your creative confidence, you'll be better equipped to solve complex problems, innovate in your field, and contribute more effectively to your team's success. Creative thinking isn’t an inborn talent but a muscle that strengthens with use, a skill honed through deliberate practice and open-minded exploration.
In the era of generative AI, the unique role of human creativity becomes even more crucial.

Emotional Regulation Matrix
Balanced emotional management helps increase creative capacity by creating an inner sense of calm and resilience, making it easier to stay curious and maintain a problem-solving focus. For instance, frustration and fear often lead to a defensive, closed-off approach, while balanced emotions support adaptability, helping one remain flexible and open to new possibilities.
