Breaking Into Technical Recruiting
For a little over a decade, I have consulted with dozens of companies as a Sr Technical Recruiter, Lead, or Technical Talent Acquisition Manager. I have experienced all of these rewarding opportunities in the Agency, RPO, and Corporate setting, including ManpowerGroup RPO, HUB Recruiting, Global Healthcare IT, and companies like MongoDB, Komodo Health, Viasat, Everlywell(Everly Health), DermTech, Constant Contact, Elbit Systems of America, and more! I have also recruited for Technical Recruiters and other verticals for companies like, Coca Cola, Comcast, Intuit, Elbit Systems of America, Thermo-Fisher, Wolters Kluwer, Activision, Lamb Weston, Salesforce, Comcast, Cigna, and FIS. I actually had no idea recruiting was a "thing" when I fell into it, but in the midst of recruiting top technical talent, I also interviewed hundreds of Recruiters for Technical Recruiter positions and I was amazed with the stories of how they got there. There really was no school for this! When I "stumbled" into technical recruiting as a College Admissions Recruiter I gained a $60,000 pay increase that year and I never looked back. I had no degree, no technical knowledge, and no prior recruiting experience in talent acquisition. However, I was still making six figures consistently, and I have worked from home 100% for 10 years.
Making a career change can feel like sailing in unchartered waters without a map. ("Like how I recieved my Bachelors in Instructional Design so I could create courses and teach, then obtained my Master's in Data Analytics and added "Data Scientist" to my career toolbelt). "Yes, I can code!" That is an entirely different story, but the point is "you can make a career pivot if you are willing to put in the work". Luckily, I have done alot of the stumbling for you and I will help you to create your own roadmap to propel your career and income with a career change to technical recruiting. Create Your Personal Roadmap and Strategy
In this module you will be developing your personal roadmap and transition strategy. This will include identifying your current transferable skills, uncovering skill gaps and resources to fill them, and targeting your ideal industries and companies to based on your findings

Technical Career Simplified Breakdowns
In this module you will leave with a stronger knowledge of the top technical roles in demand from technical experts. You will test your knowledge to solidify you understand the roles you will be recruiting and practice sourcing technical talent.

Acceleration Techniques
In this module you will discover and use techniques to accelerate your transition to Tehcnical Recruiitng. You will uncover opportunities and companies with your class that have positions that are the best fit for you. You will also structure and discover how to market your resume and get interviews outside of the standard application process

Technical Interview Preparation
In this module you will master the skills to be successful in your Technical Recruiting interviews. You will learn the STAR method and participate in interview preparation with members of your class to provide and recieve feedback
12 PM - 1:30 PM PST
2 hours per week
Outside personal projects will be necessary for this course to apply the skills learned during class. Please prepare for at least 2 hours per week to apply your learnings from each class.
