Course overview
Your product isn’t growing, you’ve already spent money on advertising but had no results.
In this course, you’ll identify your product's best features and the customer group that needs it.
Then, you’ll build a plan that increases your chances of organic growth.

Define success for your product
You'll have clarity on what metrics you need focus on. And you will understand why retention and engagement always beat acquisition in regards to growth.
Double down on what works
You'll redefine product market fit for your product and your core customer segment by figuring out what parts of your product are working and who they are working for.
Draft your growth strategy
You'll create your own growth strategy by mastering the growth framework used by Meta to grow WhatsApp to over 2B monthly active users.
Receive feedback and iterate
You will create a set of product and marketing experiments you can launch asap and share it with the group to receive feedback from your peers and the instructor

Katya joined Facebook in the early days of the original growth team that created product growth as a discipline. She was the first person from Facebook to join WhatsApp after the acquisition - she built a growth and product analytics function inside WhatsApp and enabled its step change in growth.
Since then she has been working with over 100 early stage startup founders on their growth strategy. Now she is ready to share what she learnt in 15 years of working in growth and help founders and marketing teams in early stage startups create a strategy for organic growth.

Introductory session

3 workshops
10:00 - 12:00 am PT October 17, 19, 21
Workshops are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00am to 12:00pm PT
Pre work/home work
2-4 hours per week
Work on the deliverables with the help of your peers and instructors.
2 office hours
10:00 am / 4:00 pm PT October 18 and 20
Office hours are optional, they will follow the workshops on Tuesday and on Thursday.
Active learning, not passive watching
This is a crash course with clear deliverables that's taught live and interactively. There will be live examples, breakout rooms, discussions, and office hours to share your work with peers and instructors.

Surround yourself with like-minded people who want to learn and grow alongside you. Get feedback from your peers and instructor to refine your thinking as you build your growth strategy.
Accountability and feedback
Rethinking your growth strategy is tough when doing it on your one - you will have clear deliverables and timelines as well as a group of supporting peers to keep you on track.
