My Midjourney World-building Masterclass is designed to unlock your inner-most abstract thoughts and ideas. Through a clever, battle-tested, and perfectly balanced mix of image + text prompting, I'm going to show you how to completely obliterate any barrier between the visual concepts in your mind and the final, tangible outputs.

Together, we'll construct layered, captivating scenes that transport your audience to never-before-seen environments and dimensions. We'll combine our newly acquired knowledge of lighting, portraiture, color-grading, and brand stylization to generate unique characters, avatars and models.

Joshua Teplitz is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Joshua's client list includes the NBA, NFL, Lamborghini, Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, UFC, Playstation, The Weeknd, Adidas, McLaren, Aston Martin, Travis Scott, and more. Since he was a child, Teplitz has been fascinated by the possibility of other worlds or realities existing outside of our own. With a heavy emphasis on bold colors and the clever use of practical lighting, Joshua takes the viewer down a path built around surrealism and fantasy, while incorporating familiar environments and faces from this landscape that we call home.

Advanced Text Prompting: How to Use Keywords and Tokens

A comprehensive journey into the world of text-to-image generation.
Full, in-depth breakdowns of the absolute best text descriptors, phrases, and keywords to ensure cinematic and photorealistic outputs EVERY TIME.
Examination, evaluation, and execution of incorporating verbiage that is utilized across the film and entertainment industry.

Advanced Image Prompting: The Curation and Understanding of Light, Shadow, and Texture

Rule #1: lighting is everything. I'm going to show you how to select the correct reference photos to build off of, and explain to you why your base image is more important than you think. From here, we'll develop a sound understanding of highlight + shadow data, segueing into the replication of realistic skin textures, down to individual pores.

Character Customization: How to Create Unique Subjects

Our previous module was the gateway into character customization. Now, we're going to take everything we learned about lighting, shadow, and texture, and apply it to creating stylized subjects. Designing Your Environment: Leveraging Mood, Atmosphere, Location, and Context

Crafting immersive worlds with precision has never been easier. I'm going to walk you through how to create lifelike spaces across hundreds of cities as we simulate stadiums, installations, interiors, and landscapes. We'll add a multitude of weather conditions into your MJ environments, evoking a variety of moods while preserving our set location.

Cohesive Storytelling: The Culmination of Your New Skillsets

Congratulations on completing your first six modules with me! It's time to tie it all together. We're going to take our recently acquired skillsets and apply our combined knowledge to create layered, industry-standard storyboards. We'll learn about the selection of color-palettes, stylization, camera movements, and directing via written cues.
