Course overview

Hands-on practice setting pricing and building out product finance forecasts

The training will be working through the business decisions around launching a new SaaS product targeted at small businesses. Participants will have a chance to interview business owners, their customers, and their employees in order to explore the pros and cons of different pricing models. We’ll then make a decision as a corporation on whether to invest in this new line of business.

On the second day, we’ll dig in more to the overall corporate finances, figuring out how to fit this new product within our portfolio, what happens to our accounting depending on those decisions, and how we should be allocating budget to our product teams to fund this development and other initiatives.

By emphasizing hands-on activities throughout, we make sure that your team actually has an opportunity to practice the skills they are learning about. This technique helps them recall and reuse the skills in their jobs, when it’s time to apply them.
