Who is this course for

01

You are a progressive leader who wants to create a more human workplace

02

You believe great ideas and the ability to make change are not 'title' dependant

03

You want to take control of your work experience and create more joy for yourself and others

See what people are saying

The course has been the highlight of my last year. I got to experience a welcoming, inclusive, safe space to contribute, to participate and to lean into my authentic strengths.

I really enjoyed the 'learn and practice together' format and got a lot of value from working with people from different countries and different professional backgrounds.

I love how it was all structured: great intro to the topic with useful material to read, a relevant and inspiring guest every week and closing the week together reflecting on the assignments.

I think the course was very well organised, with relevant content and practical assignments that I think many could benefit implementing in their organizations.

Course syllabus

01

The Courage to Practice

Leadership is not a destination, it's a lifelong journey of learning and (sometimes) unlearning. But it takes practice, and changing your beliefs and behaviours about your leadership takes courage. Activate your courage to practice.

02

Collective Decision Making

We need to know who makes the decisions and how they make them. Learn about the different ways that decisions can be made collectively, and where best to apply them. When you use proposals and consent to move forward, you will be able to artfully make decisions together, without grinding to a halt when objections arise.

03

Roles and Agreements

Accountability comes from clarity. Getting clear on your mandates and commitments and sharing those with your teammates provides the clarity on which to build agreements. Understand the difference and power of values, aspirations and principles.

04

Adult-to-Adult

05

Deliberate Development/Reflective Practice

Business challenges provide the best environment for learning and development. Deliberately leveraging the needs of the business as a platform for personal development allows for ongoing, sustainable business growth. Business growth in turn creates new opportunities for personal development. Creating routi

06

Emergent Strategy

In environments where speed and complexity are becoming the norm, leaders are called upon to see and integrate all that is evolving around them. This requires the capacity to be—and to help others be—comfortable in ambiguity, welcoming the unknown while remaining grounded in a bigger purpose. Learn to engage with the unfolding future.
