Germán León has a Master's Degree in Interaction Design from Umeå University in Sweden and a degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology USA in AI design.

Before Gestoos, Germán was the Managing Director at Oblong Europe, the company widely known for the Movie ¨Minority Report¨. Preview to Oblong Germán worked at Vodafone Group for multiple years; during that time, he served in reformulating mobile and Internet strategy.
