Eugene is a Singapore-based Portfolio Manager of Vision Capital Fund, and Author of the Book, "Vision Investing: How We Beat Wall Street & You Can, Too!", to share his learnings and help people invest better.

He previously worked at top investment banks, JP Morgan and Citi for over 11 years. After recovering from a near death accident, he decided to pursue investing as a lifelong passion and set out to learn from the best, and to master it.

Eugene previously ran Vision Capital with his own capital for over 7 years, investing in over 50+ publicly-listed companies, outperforming with +257% vs the S&P 500's +133% (as of 28 June 2024), since March 2017.

He also manages Vision Capital Ventures, where he has invested in more than 80 early-stage tech startups.

Both of which are solely focused in investing in innovative, technology-driven companies that create positive, meaningful impact in the world.

Eugene tweets regularly about his thoughts and viewpoints, writes ad-hoc in Vision Investing Viewpoints, and has appeared in numerous podcasts & interviews, and have also written for the The Business Times, Singapore's leading financial newspaper.

Eugene received a Summa Cum Laude for his BSc in Economics (with double major in Finance) from the Singapore Management University (SMU), and was on the Dean's List for three years. He also represented his country, Singapore in Water Polo, winning a Gold Medal in the 2007 Southeast Asian Games.
