3 Weeks
·Cohort-based Course
Practice our well-honed facilitation techniques in 3 short interactive sessions and elevate your meetings from chaotic to collaborative.
Course overview
How many times have your meetings strayed from their original purpose? Maybe the group wasn't prepared or got distracted and went off-topic. Or you didn't have the right people in the room. There are lots of reasons why a meeting can go off topic and even become unruly.
You have the power tactfully and gracefully maintain (or regain) control of your meetings.
In this course, you'll acquire the templates, the insights, and the facilitation practice you need to keep meetings on track.
Using these tools, you’ll learn to recognize and disarm typical meeting detractors. We all know them and may recognize them in ourselves—the Watcher, the Off-Tracker, the Naysayer, the Know-It-All, and the Repeater. By the time we're done, we hope you'll even come to appreciate them all!
In three 1-hour sessions you'll learn, share, practice, and have fun while getting better at leading meetings!
01
Project, program and product managers who could use a boost in their meeting chops.
02
Anyone who wants to become a more impactful meeting facilitator.
03
People who believe there is a time and place for meetings and want to make their meetings more productive.
Fundamentals are everything. You'll personalize the proven meeting framework and templates that we use to control the room.
You'll identify and create cues to leverage seemingly unproductive meeting behavior into strengths that contribute to positive business outcomes.
Apply facilitation techniques to disarm unproductive meeting behaviors and learn to tactfully redirect, interrupt, and ensure anyone who has value to add is heard.
We’ll work through meeting leadership challenges specific to your cohort, such as hybrid environments, executives, and personal agendas.
