Topics covered

Find Your One Golden Idea

Streamline your stories and expertise into one golden idea that readers can’t help but read and recommend to friends. Reframe your doubts, fears and uncertainties into selling points that differentiate you in your market’s sea of sameness.

Write Your Punchy Book (In Your Own Voice)

The writing phase, we'll: uncover your natural writing voice through the “Word Vomit” and “Same, Same But Different” methods, eliminate distractions by using simple habit-building tricks, and build a consistent writing routine that doesn’t feel like pulling teeth (the "50% rule")

Choose Your Time-Tested Structure

Using our database of time-tested, plug-and-play templates (based on a variety of bestselling books), choose which structure is best for you. You’ll know exactly what ideas and stories should go where, while still leaving room for your original, secret sauce.

Minimalist Marketing

There’s only one effective way to market your book, long term: word of mouth. How do we do it? With the simplest marketing plan possible. The “marketing” part is easy. No need for paid ads or shameless self-promotion. The “writing a book that people talk about” part is hard.

Ticketless would not have been possible without my book coach, editor, marketer, and (now) friend, Matt Rudnitsky. Somehow, he never grew tired of telling me to dig deeper. If you have an idea for a book, I hope you’ll reach out to him.

Matt Rudnitsky

Matt Rudnitsky

Author, Book Whisperer

In the last 7 years, I’ve worked with dozens of authors who have sold millions of copies in aggregate (first at Tucker Max’s Scribe Media, now at my own Platypus Publishing). Whether they were featured in the New York TimesESPN or Facebook ads selling 150 copies (and $15k in high-ticket sales) a day, they all followed the same basic process and structure -- while leaving room to creatively amplify their own voices and messages.

The topic didn't matter -- the algorithmic stock trader, the spiritual entrepreneur and the sports diehard all wrote punchy, impactful books that skyrocketed their credibility.

If you want to write a better book faster, and to stand out as one-of-a-kind in the sea of sameness, you need to write a Punchy Book.

Aspiring authors don’t fail because of bad ideas, lack of experience, or even writing skill. They fail because of lack of processstructure and clarity. You have a message to share with the world, but can’t get the attention you deserve.

So why haven’t you written it yet?

Learn with a comprehensive curriculum

01

Find Your One Golden Idea

Most books don’t have a premise, so nobody reads them. We’ll mine your life and career for points of differentiation, and put them into a compelling premise that readers can’t ignore.

02

Write Your Damn Book

Most nonfiction books are too long and boring. By following one of our punchy outline structures (adapted from your favorite nonfiction books), you’ll answer a series of questions, and plug and play your stories and ideas into a proven structure. While uncovering your natural writing voice, with a series of exercises to find your unique brand.

03

Publish, Polish And Launch Easefully

Real entrepreneurs and authors self-publish professionally. Not the haphazard nonsense you see on LinkedIn, but rather beautifully produced books that belong next to your favorite author at Barnes & Noble or Amazon. Traditional publishing is dying, and you’re at the forefront.

Learning is better with cohorts

Active learning, not passive watching

This course isn’t a bunch of fluff and theory. Every lesson will have live, interactive exercises where you’ll get your ideas out of your head and onto the page -- with the quick feedback you need.

Learn with a cohort of peers

You’ll automatically be assigned to a “writing group” of like minded peers, to help refine your ideas and reassure you that you’re not crazy for embarking on your book writing journey ;)

Accountability and Feedback

Matt, his team and your writing group will be checking on your weekly, to make sure you’re on track and going at a quick (but comfortable) speed.

Plug-And-Play, Bestselling Structures

No matter what type of nonfiction book you’re writing, Matt will provide you with a plug-and-play structure so you don’t have to worry about organization or what goes where. Just answer a series of questions, and model one of your favorite author’s proven paths, with room for your “secret sauce” of originality.
