I’m an experienced Executive Coach, former C-Suite Exec, ex-Chewy Vice President, Amazon Director, L’Oréal General Manager, etc. Over my 25+ year career, I’ve lived and worked in 12 countries, managed multi-billion-dollar businesses, and led teams of over 5,000 people. For the past 20 years, I have also worked in parallel as a certified leadership and executive coach (ICF PCC, Marshall Goldsmith Coach, etc.), coaching hundreds of CEOs, senior leaders, and entrepreneurs from around the world. I’ve authored multiple books on leadership and coaching and hold a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and an MBA.

I’m the founder and managing director of AVDH Coaching & Consulting, a certified ICF PCC coach, and a Fellow of the Institute of Coaching, Harvard Medical School. I co-founded Amazon Germany’s Coaching Program, helped establish L’Oréal’s Mentoring Program, and am a member of the Forbes Coaching Council. I work as a leadership & executive coach and advise CEOs and entrepreneurs worldwide.


I also held senior leadership roles including Vice President at Chewy, Director of Talent & Leadership Development at Amazon, Director of Kindle, Managing Director of Amazon BuyVIP, and senior international positions at L’Oréal (General Manager Europe, Country Manager Poland, etc.).


With extensive experience in executive management, HR, sales, and marketing, I’ve worked across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. I bring deep expertise in e-commerce, retail, consumer goods, and technology, along with a strong passion for leadership development.


I earned a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) in organizational leadership from Northeastern University (Boston, USA) an MBA from Henley Business School (UK), and hold degrees in management and economics from Ludwigshafen Business School (Germany).
