Cohort-based Course

Connect your people development program to your client's strategic priorities. Drive greater impact. Win more business.

Course overview

Move from "nice to have" to "essential" in the eyes of your clients

The world is full of consultants, coaches and facilitators who have great content. You, no doubt, are one of them.

How in demand was that content during the pandemic? The last recession?

The challenge with most learning and development programs is that they rarely connect directly to the organizations' most pressing strategic priorities.

And so, when leadership teams are forced to make prioritization decisions, too often L&D budgets are first to be cut.

Yet those of us in the space know that our programs matter; that they create value. The challenge is not in the content, it's in how we link the participant experience to the business impact that senior leaders care about.

This course - leveraging 15 years and data from 4000+ programs - will equip you with the framework and tools for elevating the impact of your program in the eyes of your prospective client. We're focused on three key areas:

1. Connect your program to business impact

2. Ensure participants take action on your content

3. Prove the impact of your programs

Interactive, small cohort sessions with direct access to me (Chris) between sessions.

Let's make sure your programs are recognized for the change catalysts they are.

Who is this course for

01

You're a Leadership Consultant who wants to have a strong answer to “how will you prove impact?”

02

You want your training firm to stand out from the crowd through demonstrable ROI.

03

This course is not for you if you're just starting out and/or don't have any content developed yet.

What you’ll get out of this course

A practical methodology for connecting your program to business impact

For your program to be a "no brainer" investment for your clients, it needs to align with - and clearly advance - one of their top strategic priorities.

We'll leverage the Impact Value Chain to make this an embedded part of your discovery process.

Proven tools to ensure participants apply the learning

Move from "some participants taking action some of the time" to "most participants engaging in sustained behavior change, all of the time".

The Insights-Action Flywheel provides a flexible playbook for supporting the application efforts of your participants.

A reliable Impact Measurement system

Why do we so often report on learning program efficacy with stats around participant satisfaction & knowledge retention?

Let's tell the behavior change story instead, with data & clear links to business priorities.

The Impact Mapping Process provides an easy method to do so.

Yes, but why?

WIIFM, you ask? Consultants leveraging these frameworks:

  • win more business by differentiating through proof of impact,
  • sell larger programs by making clear how their work advances strategic priorities, and

  • are asked back more often due to the obvious impact they're having
Ultimately, it's about greater, measurable impact

There is nothing quite so disheartening as leaving a room of inspired, committed learners only to be called back 6 months later to realize that basically nothing has changed.

Through this course you'll:

  • Increase your impact
  • Prove your impact
  • Make it obvious to all involved

Chris Taylor

Hi! I'm Chris, founder of Actionable.co. To the best of my knowledge, Actionable is the largest and most established behavior change company on the planet, when it comes to corporate learning.

I've spent 15 years teaching over 400 consultants how to turn learning programs into measurable application. The methodologies I'm teaching in this course were used on 870 programs in 2022, resulting in a 44% greater behavior change (across 39,000 program participants)

The last decade and a half has been an exercise in building, refining and proving the efficacy of the fundamentals I'm teaching in this course. I'm looking forward to sharing them with you.

Active hands-on learning

Theory? Oh, we've got theory. But this is about making the most of your time and ensuring you leave with work done.

We'll be "co-building" in these sessions; rolling up our sleeves and actively layering the core elements into one of your evergreen or upcoming programs.

Interactive and project-based

You’ll be interacting with other learners through breakout rooms and in small group discussions.

Over the course of the week, you'll be integrating the learnings and "ah ha" moments into your real program(s), in real time.

Learn with a cohort of peers

My entire professional life, I've lived by the philosophy that the "wisdom is in the room" and that "nobody is smarter than everybody".

This program will be no different; a wonderful opportunity to collaborate and connect with like-minded practitioners from across the globe.
