Whether you're a new manager looking to get up to speed quickly or an experienced manager looking to uplevel your skills, this course will equip you with the foundational tools, tips and tactics to become a more confident manager.
This cohort kicks off 4/25/23 and meets every Tuesday from 12:00pm - 1:30pm EST / 9 :00am - 10:30am PST.

You're a new manager and haven't been given the training you need or are eager to learn the basics.

You're an experienced manager and you're looking for tools and tips that you can implement immediately to uplevel your skills.

You're eager for professional development to be the best manager you can be.
Managers make or break the employee experience. You will reflect on your role as a people manager and be introduced to the art and science of management. You'll also learn five key questions to ask to help unlock your team's full potential.
Managers are measured by the success of their team. You will learn techniques for setting a clear vision, communicating expectations and holding people accountable.
Loved or dreaded, 1:1s and team meetings can either be incredibly impactful or a waste of time. In this module, you will learn frameworks and assessments to ensure your meetings are well facilitated and inclusive.
Before you give feedback, you'll need to build a culture of trust. You will learn how to do that, while also learning a framework for giving critical feedback that is candid and caring.

Bethany has spent over a decade in leadership roles across many teams, departments and companies, including Yelp and The Mom Project. During her eight years at Yelp, she led teams ranging in size from 10-100. Her leadership success stems from a people first approach and she is passionate about teaching these skills to others.
