Meet your instructor
Niani "Werk Friend" Tolbert
Hi! I'm Niani, and I am a PIVOTER. I am a marketer-turned-tech recruiter-turned founder of the #HIREBLACK. #HIREBLACK started as a viral LinkedIn post in 2020 while I was a furloughed tech recruiter.
Since its inception, my career community has worked with companies like Amazon, Disney, Conde Nast, Niantic, Spotify, Uber, and more. Our resources have reportedly increased the total compensation of the HIREBLACK members by over $2 million.
As a career coach, I have led workshops at Advertising Week, University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, and NYU Stern School of Business. I also have an online career column for ESSENCE Magazine.

Join our live workshop, interactive workshop as we break down the Brag Book essentials- step by step.
Workshop 1: Wednesday, October 18th
Workshop 2: Wednesday, October 25th
Friday Feedback Sessions
Two Slots: 1 PM - 2 EST or 6 - 7 PM EST
Meet with peers from your cohort to receive feedback on your Brag Book!
The final 20 minutes of the feedback session will turn into hot seat coaching sessions for an opportunity to get direct feedback from me in front of your peers!
