Course overview
This course is for educators, technologists, and change makers who want to use AI responsibly to create meaningful social impact. You'll move from uncertainty or curiosity about AI to confidently designing ethical, human-centred prototypes. By the end, you’ll have a tested concept, a Responsible AI Plan, and the skills to lead AI-for-Good initiatives—without needing to code.

She has built a career dedicated to tech-for-good innovation, with extensive experience in tech startups. She has worked on projects that leverage emerging technologies to address global challenges, from supporting at-risk communities facing homelessness to developing AI-driven solutions for environmental sustainability.
Her passion lies in exploring how AI, blockchain, and digital innovation can drive positive change, particularly in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as she knows AI can be a great force for good when used in the correct way.
From medical student to prisoner to AI ethicist and social entrepreneur, Sobanan Narenthiran’s journey defies convention and powerfully reframes what it means to innovate for good. His lived experience of the justice system shapes a bold, systems-level approach to AI ethics, economic empowerment, and digital rehabilitation.
