Understand all facets of a leadership role including the unsaid and uncalled aspects which are missed

Understand the mechanics of leading your team at different stages of its existence - from forming a team, establishing a high performing team and how to grow your team. Understand what it takes to lead your people through the good and bad times, including giving feedback, coaching and establishing a fruitful manager-direct relationship

Leading your organization

Understand the process of making your people and team effective and meet the goals of your organization. Figure out methods to build clear alignment between your team and your organization KPIs.

Building Business acumen

Understand how your business operates, what matters more, and how to help with prioritizing the focus of your team. Build a strong understanding of product and business metrics, and how to make decisions that move the needle

Making Decisions

Familiarize yourself with different decision making methods and help your team to make the right decision at the right time.

Managing Up

Understand how you can build a trusting and effective relationship with your boss and senior leadership within the organization

Vivek Juneja

Engineering leader and Podcaster

I am an experienced engineering leader with close to two decades experience in software development ranging from startups to large enterprises. I started my career as a Python developer in 2005 working as a freelancer, and moving to build web-based projects for large enterprises in the late 2000s where I was working as a full stack engineer. I moved to infrastructure automation with the boom in Cloud services, by leading development of Cloud infrastructure work at telecom providers and e-commerce companies in the early 2010s. For the last 8 years, I have been in the engineering leadership role across different companies. At the moment, I lead the engineering teams at On Running, a Swiss based Sports brand, as a Director of Engineering. In this role, I am responsible for engineering efforts for global e-commerce software development. On the side, I am a continuous tinkerer - playing with different technologies for hobby projects, running a podcast called "In Your Shoes" since 2020 and being a leadership coach advising and helping new and experienced leaders.
