Amena Lee Schlaikjer

Amena Lee Schlaikjer

Amena is an innovation strategist and performance coach. She is passionate about designing solutions around human potential, performance and wellbeing. Her coaching sprints help founders and teams find the focus, flow and momentum needed to start up without burning out.


Ten years as an entrepreneur connects her to the necessity of skin-in-the-game. Fifteen years using facilitating design thinking projects provides her a versatile problem-solving toolkit. Twenty years as a dedicated mind-body practitioner informs her with the notion that change isn’t an intellectual exercise.


All these she weaves together in programs where leaders literally move through their leadership gaps and shift from a sense of fear to flow. Her toolkit includes human-centered design, systems thinking, flow science and transformative coaching.


She has facilitated 100+ design thinking workshops for brands like Philips, J&J, L'Oreal, and coached executives from Apple, Intel and Magna Steyr. She also supported the team at the Flow Research Collective revamp their flow coaching product. Today she runs a sprint lab helping founders and businesses flow forward towards their vision: www.untappedlab.co


Amena is a graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University and THNK School of Creative Leadership.

She also earned a 320 hour Inspaya Yoga TT in 2009, ICF-accredited Wellcoaches completion in 2013, Body=Brain somatic coaching certificate in 2018, 500 hour Weightlessness in 2020 and is awaiting her ICF PCC certification. She also holds a Dive Master but mostly got it for the underwater breath practice while watching cool things swim by. But her favorite creatures are her geriatric cats.

    Asynchronous Work

    You will receive an email with your sprint workbook. Complete all the exercises (~1 hour) in preparation for our group kickoff. Block time to do this in your calendar in advance!

  • Monday, February 19th

    4:30-6:00pm PST / 8:30-10:00am HKT+1

    Launchpad and Lift Off:

    • Scoping your sprint and defining a problem statement
    • Group alignment exercises to set expectations and rules
    • Self-audits to determine gap areas and focal point
    • Sharing our sprint framework and universal flow protocol
  • Tuesday, February 20th

    Deep Dive Self-Reflection:

    • Exercises to determine your unique sweetspot talent
    • Exercises to uncover areas of 'stuckness' and friction
    • Exercises to determine your 'flow proneness'

    • Understanding 'first thing's first' principles in new habit formation

    • Pulling everything together from your exercises and group activities to start crafting your personalized playbook.
    • Breakout sessions for group shares, builds and refinement
    • Managing risk by listing foreseeable obstacles and assumptions

    Landing Your Commitments:

    • Sharing your playbook and making declarations
    • Setting a self-contract and making it visible to the group
    • Learning the skill of leveraging VUCA to amplify intensity

  • Daily Assignments

    20-60 mins

    There will be some pre-work exercises before each scheduled session so that you can come prepared to jump into group activities with answers. Time dependent on your need for reflection or creation.
